My irascible old postman had some special deliveries for me this week, both arriving the same day. I just love getting art supplies in the post, especially when they are for new projects. The first delivery were more wooden supplies for my new project (handpainted jewellery and items), and the second, my new Prismacolor Verithin pencils recommended to me by Jessica Doyle.
A fabulous addition to my already massive collection of pens, pencils, markers and fineliners (which really deserve a post of their own one day). I used to do an awful lot of pencil work, and still have the first box of water soluble Caran D’ache I bought as a student, though sadly most of the pencils are little more than stumps, and the tin is falling apart. It’s kept, along with my old tubes of gouche paint and egg tempera for sentiment.
