It’s been a bit quite around here lately, hasn’t it. Well, not really had much time lately for finished work or commissions as Luke has been away in SA, plus which I have been working on web design work for clients. However, I have done some doodles in my sketchbook and I have been working on some projects, which I will unveil soon. I am thought, working on a slideshow of illustration, paintings, sketchbook work past and present which I shall also be posting later today…
your doodles are marvelous 🙂
Thank you very much. 🙂
I’m beginning to notice a pattern here… with the shoes! LOL
“Rolling in the Deep” is simply gorgeous and amazing… how your mind can dream up something that intricate yet repetitive. 🙂
Hey there Tara…it’s really not that hard or complicated. I simply draw a swirl, or a shape, than add another, then another, then another and I let the pattern create itself. You try it. Pad, pen, telly on…and just see what happens.
Anyway….shoes? If it’s a reference to the ‘Soul of my Shoe’ that appeared in the slideshow, I did that one quite a long time ago. I used to draw shoes all the time. In fact, I have asked a friend whose daughter is a ballerina to send me a pair of her old pointe shoes as I want to do some ‘proper’ illustrations with them.
Anyway, thank you for hanging out, nice to see ya…
