Sketchbook: November Week I

Sketchbook: November

When in doubt, draw faces… It’s interesting that over the years, I always seem to come back to the same motif. Faces. As a girl and student, I would draw faces endlessly. Sad, happy, angry, serious and contemplative. Oh, and always womens faces. So, first in a series of faces in my sketchbooks. 🙂

And of course, leaves are always a firm favourite too.

I love your leaf – to me it doubles as a nut/pod!
I like your face too, I don’t do faces 😉

I love your artwork. If there’s one thing I can’t draw, it’s faces.

Thank you Nicky, what a lovely compliment. As for faces, I drew them endlessly as a child and then of course, studying fashion and textile design, you are drawing the face and form all the time.
