Morning! So, where are those Artist Features I promised you? Soon come, I promise. Questions have been sent out to some fabulous creatives, and I am waiting for them to come back. Also, I am busy writing up my own interview for UK Handmade 😉
Not as much work completed this week sadl, as I have had a nasty stomach virus. The only upside being, am unable to eat much so am losing weight. But, I have managed an hour or two in the studio here and there, here are some WIP shots of one of my unfinished projects.
Now then, this week Luke invested in an early 80’s Mercerdes Benz, the last of the good ones! This is pretty much a classic car now, but…not so much it cannot be used as a family car. One of the things little known about my hubby, that apart from being a technological savant, he is also a ‘petrol head’ and what he doesn’t know about classic cars (or any car come to that), isn’t worth knowing. It’s pretty cool to have someone around who can fix the most expensive things that one can own, e.g. computers and cars. Anyway, he hasn’t had a project car since I made him get rid of the fleet of five (including his treasured 70s ‘Ashes to Ashes’ Audi Coupe, and have yet to be forgiven for) when I was pregnant. So, we agreed he should buy something he could put his heart into, and Orla loves it too. This one has been named ‘Otto’. Yes, they all have names.
