It was ten years ago today, at precisely 3.05 p.m. that I married Luke at Chichester Registry Office.
We left the day after for Scotland, spending one week in a cottage in a tiny village called Achmore near Kyle of Localsh and Skye, and the second week motoring around Scotland.
We went there as my family is Scottish on my fathers side, and Luke had never been. It was the happiest two weeks of my life, other than when I had Orla, and we plan to take her there very soon. It’s been an adventure the past ten years. I married my best friend you see, and couldn’t have been happier.
We had a lovely day, and took Orla out to lunch with us. For his gift to me, Luke bought me a lovely ring hand made by Agustina of Aforfebre. Rather than giving him a card, I carved a little heart stamp, printed on some shimmery aceo card and wrote him a little message. What to buy him? As yet I don’t know! I daresay he will think of something 😉
