Happy New Year everyone…
In terms of creative output, 2014 was a very quiet year for me. I rarely blogged, and did little drawing or painting. That’s not to say I did nothing at all, but I just didn’t feel like drawing. I had lots of ideas, but little impetus to do much with them. So, instead of beating myself up over it and fretting, I did other stuff instead. I read, a lot. I wrote in my journal, I spent time with my family.
However, I think it’s time to shake myself up a bit, get working again, and as I have a new camera (Canon 7d), I will be spending a lot more time out and about and taking notice of the world around me, and will be drawing.
The featured image is the little Happy Cat I bought this week from China town in London, and also included in this post is a Happy New year doodle in my Moleskine.
For many, friends and strangers, both near and far 2014 was a grim year. Let’s hope we see some light in 2015.
Take care..
xx

Dear Lorrie
It’s been a while since I commented on your blog. It would seem for both of us our online presence has diminished some. It’s good to see you posting again and I look forward very much to your creative output this year.
