West Dean Gardens

Yesterday Luke, Orla and I went to West Dean Gardens, in Singleton, West Sussex. One of my favourite places, and for Luke and I, a very special and important place. I took my Canon, and though we didn’t have long there, I managed to get some decent shots, my favourites of which I feature here. There were trees wrapped in ribbon (shots of that can be viewed on the Flickr set) is an ongoing project by Magenta Gang. Magenta is from Korea and currently studying a post grad Fine Art course at West Dean and has been working on the tree project since June.

Spring + Blossom + Bees

I love Spring, it truly is my favourite time of year, and when I see crocuses start to pop up, I become excited. I feel uplifted, positive and renewed. I am anxious to be out doors and play. I think it’s lot to do with being a Spring baby. Anyway…some recent shots, more to come. Sadly, did not get any pics of my lovely Daffodils, as it always seemed to be raining. Some of these shots were very hard to get. The sun was so bright I couldn’t make out the screen clearly, and struggled with a bad neck to see through the viewfinder effectively, when down low. But, I did my best.
