Read MoreIt was my wedding anniversary on the 3rd August , we have been married ten years. One of the places we revisit as it has so many happy memories for us of when we were ‘courting’, taking Orla there as a baby and toddler, is West Dean Gardens. I include here an article I wrote for UK Handmade about West Dean, some images and a slide show. We went to Cornwall for our anniversary this year, but we are going to West Dean next month for the Apple Affair.
Read MoreIt was ten years ago today, at precisely 3.05 p.m. that I married Luke at Chichester Registry Office. We left the day after for Scotland, spending one week in a cottage in a tiny village called Achmore near Kyle of Localsh and Skye, and the second week motoring around Scotland. We went there as my family is Scottish on my fathers side, and Luke had never been. It was the happiest two weeks of my life, other than when I had Orla, and we plan to take her there very soon. It’s been an adventure the past ten years. I married my best friend you see, and couldn’t have been happier.
