June - Belis - 1920 x1080

I didn’t release any last desktop calendars last month. But, I have been out lately with my camera now that we finally have some good weather. A recent trip to one of my favourite places, West Dean Gardens, produced some lovely flower shots. An array of gorgeous colours, and just the thing to lighten the spirits. As usual two resolutions available,1290×1080 and 1366×768. Right click, open the image in a new tab and then set as your desktop background. Hope you like…

April 2013 Desktop Calendar Wallpapers

03/04/2013

Well, given the absolutely shocking weather I have been unable to get out with my camera and take some Spring shots, not that it would have done me a bit of good, for other than a few daffodils there are few flowers to photograph. So, I had a look through my shots from this time last year, and have used a couple of blossom captures, one of Hawthorn blossom and one proper Sakura cherry blossom. As usual two resolutions available,1290×1080 and 1366×768. Right click, open the image in a new tab and then set as desktop background. Hope you like…

Well, it’s been quite a while since I did any desktop calendars, mostly because of the terrible winter, rain etc that we have had to endure for the last few months and I simply haven’t been out with my camera.  But, better late than never and featuring two of my favourite shots from a recent foray into my friends garden, here are two available in two resolutions, 1290×1080 and 1366×768.  Right click, open the image in a new tab and then set as desktop background.  Hope you like…

Signs of Spring

19/02/2013

Spring is without doubt my favourite time of year. Not only was I born in the Spring, but this season sees the burgeoning of my favourite flowers, Crocuses, Daffodils and the tiny and beautifully perfect…Snowdrop.  Sadly, in Britain the tiny Snowdrop is seen less and less, but, when they appear I try to get some good shots. My friend Nicky has a lovely garden, and one corner under the trees always produces a lovely crop of Snowdrops and Crocuses. So, thank you Nicky for once again allowing me free reign in your lovely garden.

Christmas Fayre at West Dean Gardens

West Dean Gardens - Christmas 2012

This weekend Luke, Orla and I went to the Christmas event at West Dean Gardens. This was the first time this year I got to take my camera there, as we had missed our usual pilgrimage on my birthday, anniversary etc. We had a day of unexpected sunshine and it wasn’t too cold. There was a carousel, ice skating (no pics of that though, oh no), scavenger hunt, Father Christmas and all the usual stuff. Didn’t take as many shots as I would have liked, but here are some favourites, the rest are on Flickr.  Other than that, working hard on completing my sketchbook for the 2013 Sketchbook Project, and illustrative relaunch in the new year.
