A Walk in the Woods…

Weather wise, things have come to such a pass here in the UK, that if you see even a glimmer of sun and a good day, you go out. So, this weekend we did, and I took my camera. There is little greenery to be seen still, but there are now buds on the trees, and some signs of life. However, the barrenest of the trees with the sun upon them have a peculiar stark beauty. Signs of Spring

Spring is without doubt my favourite time of year. Not only was I born in the Spring, but this season sees the burgeoning of my favourite flowers, Crocuses, Daffodils and the tiny and beautifully perfect…Snowdrop.  Sadly, in Britain the tiny Snowdrop is seen less and less, but, when they appear I try to get some good shots. My friend Nicky has a lovely garden, and one corner under the trees always produces a lovely crop of Snowdrops and Crocuses. So, thank you Nicky for once again allowing me free reign in your lovely garden.

Spring + Blossom + Bees

I love Spring, it truly is my favourite time of year, and when I see crocuses start to pop up, I become excited. I feel uplifted, positive and renewed. I am anxious to be out doors and play. I think it’s lot to do with being a Spring baby. Anyway…some recent shots, more to come. Sadly, did not get any pics of my lovely Daffodils, as it always seemed to be raining. Some of these shots were very hard to get. The sun was so bright I couldn’t make out the screen clearly, and struggled with a bad neck to see through the viewfinder effectively, when down low. But, I did my best.
