July 2011 Desktop Calendar - Field of Flowers

Here are my desktop calendars for July. I have gone with two recent shots as I couldn’t make my mind up which to use. My Foxglove shots seem quite popular, many thanks to Nicky for allowing me to roam her garden.  The other I took in a field of delicate white flowers near my village. For a change, I have made the wallpapers to fit my own laptop screen which is 1366×768. If you really want one a different size to fit your own browser resolution, then leave a comment. Both are available to download from my Flickr account if you have trouble saving them from my blog.

June 2011 Desktop Calendar

As it’s been a stormy month weather wise, I decided to make a moody June desktop calendar wallpaper. This a shot I took of Boxgrove Priory near where I live,  and given a bit of a moody treatment. The resolution is 1024×1280 and can be downloaded from here or  my Flickr account.

May 2011 Desktop Calender

Inspired by the  lovely Geninne, I have created a May 2011 Desktop Calender. It’s been ages and ages and AAAGES since I have made a desktop wallpaper. There was a time in fact when I used to create them regularly, particularly in my active deviantART days, and I still do make them occasionally and submit to deviantART. In fact, one of my Valentine wallpapers is still my most viewed submission on Flickr. I used to have a section on Illusio Creative a long time ago for wallpapers, when I did a lot more web graphics. So, I decided to rustle one up using a shot of wild flowers I took down Centurian Way near where we used to live, and used some nifty filters and text graphics in PS. The resolution is 1280×1024.  I hope you like it. I will be doing this more often I think, as it’s good therapy. The best way to download this (as all images on here open in a lightbox), is to right click and then click on ‘Open Link in New Tab’. Then right click again, and click on ‘Set as Desktop Background’. If you are interested in purchasing any original pieces, postcards and prints then please visit my ART SHOP.

Valentines Day Art

Valentine Kiss

Sadly, other than my Celtic Heart Gocco print, I didn’t create any Valentines Day art this year to sell as I originally intended. However, here is a sample of Valentine Day art from the last five years.  Two of the Aceo’s are sold, two are available in my shop Art4sale.  The poem I wrote for Luke and I think I entered in a contest.  The wallpapers I originally created for my deviantART account, and I used to have them on my own site. I don’t generally make them as much now and don’t have downloads on my Portfolio anymore.  Though I may add a ‘Downloads’ gallery on here at some point. The wallpapers are free to download.
