2020/21 Reboot

Greatings all, and a belated Happy New Year. Welcome to my 2020/21 Reboot. So, 2020 was a weird one for us all, and 2021? Well, all bets are off. For me, 2020 was going to be about life changes following certain personal events in 2019, and which started a train of events that led to some big life decisions. However, some of those life changes were, like so many, imposed upon me and were even more bizarre than I could have imagined. Many of my own plans for the year had to be shelved naturally, and life became about adapting. I was still able to pursue some of my plans, but many were not tenable, and still may not be this year. Long time no post. At the moment it’s still all about the pottery and shows no sign of stopping, particularly as I decided to continue my pottery course for another year. Draw a Dragon Mummy!

When your Dragon obsessed daughter insists you draw a Dragon, what can you do, but do as she says!   My Dragon obsessed daughter for her birthday, asked for all things Dragon related, and she got them. A Dragon bracelet made by my friend Sylvie, Dragons books, Dragon mug, pen, bookmark, etc. Her passion for Dragons is something I don’t share, but, fully support and encourage.   The sketchbook is handmade and includes paper of different tones, weights and thickness. It was made by my friend Helen Smith on Etsy.
